TELO Trucks

The MT1 is the world’s most efficient EV pickup, built for urban living and weekend adventures.

At Fuseproject, we excel at redefining the limits of design, which is why we partnered with TELO to create the world’s most efficient electric pickup truck—perfectly suited for city living and weekend getaways. Recognizing that traditional pickups are often too large for urban settings, TELO challenged us to design a compact truck that delivers full-size functionality while being optimized for city use.

This project reunited innovative minds. Fifteen years after working together to create the world’s fastest electric motorcycle, our founder Yves Behar teamed up again with TELO co-founders Forrest North and Jason Marks, experts in EV technology. We collaborated on everything—from naming the company and building the brand identity to designing the truck’s exterior, interior, and digital experience.

Using advanced EV and battery technology, we developed a compact, five-passenger truck with a 60-inch bed, all within the footprint of a two-door mini. This design maximizes interior and cargo space without the bulk, making it perfect for city streets while retaining the rugged capabilities needed for adventures.

With TELO, we’re addressing a critical environmental issue. Light-duty trucks contribute 10.5% of U.S. carbon emissions, and by electrifying this segment, we’re helping reduce emissions while providing a sustainable alternative to gas-powered trucks.

TELO is more than just a vehicle—it’s our vision for the future of urban transportation, blending sustainability, design, and functionality. Together, we’re redefining what a pickup truck can be.
