Canopy
A high-end co-working space blending design, functionality, and a sense of belonging
Canopy is a collection of high-end co-working spaces that Fuseproject co-founded, offering a community-driven environment for professionals. With five locations across San Francisco and the Bay Area, including plans for a new site in the Presidio, Canopy aims to create the ultimate workspace within residential neighborhoods, catering to those tired of commuting or working alone at home. The vision was to provide an inviting space where solo entrepreneurs and businesses can collaborate and grow alongside each other.
The redesign introduced a bold evolution of Nivea’s identity, centered on a circular blue element paired with refreshed typography and colors. The result was a brand that remained unmistakably Nivea while projecting a more premium, unified aesthetic. Previously inconsistent designs across product categories—such as body care, face care, men’s grooming, and deodorants—were harmonized into a cohesive visual system, eliminating confusion and enhancing shelf appeal.
Drawing from our expertise in office design, including collaborations with Herman Miller, we approached Canopy with a focus on integrating lifestyle elements into functional work environments. Each location features spacious lounge areas, collaborative spaces, and, whenever possible, large outdoor working areas with heated seating—a thoughtful addition tailored to San Francisco’s climate. The interior design blends the warmth of residential comfort with the utility of professional spaces, creating a welcoming yet highly productive atmosphere.
As co-founders, Fuseproject was deeply involved in every aspect of Canopy, from building the brand and designing the website and brochures to collaborating on the interiors with partners Amir and Steve. This holistic approach ensured a consistent vision across all touchpoints. Since its launch, Canopy has consistently operated at full capacity, highlighting the growing demand for thoughtfully designed co-working spaces that prioritize community and collaboration.
