Our collaboration with PayPal spanned multiple years and projects, culminating in a comprehensive rebranding effort. As a pioneer in digital payments, PayPal faced a challenge: its brand identity no longer reflected its innovative spirit or leadership in the evolving fintech space. Fuseproject was tasked with revitalizing the logo, iconography, and overall identity to reconnect with users and highlight PayPal’s cutting-edge role.
The original logo and typography no longer conveyed PayPal’s relevance as a trusted partner. To address this, we redesigned the logo with overlapping “P’s” to symbolize connection and trust. A refreshed color palette introduced a vibrant blue with subtle purple undertones, maintaining familiarity while adding energy and modernity.
For us, design isn’t just about logos and colors—it’s about creating a complete design language that extends to every part of a brand’s interaction with users. The updated identity was implemented across all touchpoints, from app icons to payment buttons on millions of websites. It extended into office environments, ensuring a cohesive and immersive brand experience.
By creating a unified design language, we helped PayPal reaffirm its leadership in digital payments and connect with the next generation of users. This rebranding isn’t just an update; it’s a transformation, ensuring PayPal remains at the forefront of financial innovation.
