Yale – Linus Smart Lock

fuseproject was committed to ensuring that Linus is convenient in size and presents an elegant and practical design, achieving that perfect balance of aesthetics and functionality. Halo-lighting around the thumb latch indicates whether a door is open or closed. The lock’s battery access door is positioned behind a disc discreetly located within the outer pill shape at one end of the lock. That same door magnetically rotates to allow for the Yale brand to be right-side-up whether the lock is installed with the outer pill at the top or bottom, a feature needed to comply with the wide range of installation needs due to the many different lock standards.

Linus’s soft curvature detailing around the perimeter of the product and thumb turn provides tactility when rotating to open and close doors. Designed with a refined brushed metal finish, and in the choice of silver or black, Linus is inspired by a simple and clear mandate to fit in discreetly and elegantly in both modern and classical homes.

Powered by the user-friendly Yale Access app (which utilizes the same software as the August locks), the Linus Smart Lock offers added functionalities, such as the ability to lock and unlock the door, grant keyless access and keep track of who comes and goes with a 24/7 access history. The Smart Lock can also be set up to lock automatically via the Yale Access app, as-soon-as the door is closed or after a set amount of time, thanks to the Linus auto-lock function. The integration with the Yale Access app enables Linus to work in conjunction with the SR and Sync Alarms, through cloud-to-cloud integration.
