fuseproject is proud to announce the official launch of the August WiFi Smart Lock, a sleek and intuitively designed smart lock from fuseproject’s design venture—August Home, Inc.—45% smaller in volume and 20% slimmer than the previous pro model. The upgraded smart lock requires no additional hardware to connect to WiFi, providing full voice and remote access functionality through the power of the August app or Apple watch. We at fuseproject have been using August locks internally for years, and now this newest edition is available to everyone.
August Home launched in 2012 as one of fuseproject’s design ventures and has been the leader in smart locks since then. Co-founders Yves Béhar and Jason Johnson’s vision to bring thoughtfully designed smart home access products and services that rethink home security innovation to market has produced 11 products to date and is now fully realized with the smallest door lock and fully integrated WiFi. August products are designed to work together, integrate with other smart devices, and fit naturally and elegantly into the home. The newest WiFi Smart Lock is available at the August website.
