The TELO MT1 has received a 2026 IDEA Bronze Award in Automotive & Transportation, recognizing a new vision for what a pickup truck can be.

The MT1 began with a simple challenge: could a truck provide full-size utility without the full-size footprint? Working in close partnership with TELO Trucks, fuseproject created a compact electric vehicle that seats five and carries a 60-inch truck bed—all within the footprint of a two-door MINI.

Our collaboration spans brand strategy, naming, and identity as well as the truck’s exterior, interior, digital experience, and CMF. The result rejects the assumption that bigger is always better, bringing together urban agility, rugged capability, and a more sustainable approach to mobility.

This IDEA recognition celebrates the shared commitment of the TELO and fuseproject teams to creating category-first ideas that are not only innovative, but useful, desirable, and ready for adoption.
