Peaks by Moooi has won a Fast Company 2026 Innovation by Design Award in the Home category.
Peaks grew from a simple human need: a living space that could support gathering, play, rest, and time together – sometimes all at once. Inspired by the peaks and valleys of Yves Béhar’s Swiss upbringing, the system transforms the traditional sofa into a flexible social terrain.
Triangular upholstered modules rotate to become backrests, armrests, and platforms, allowing Peaks to move intuitively between individual relaxation and communal use. Integrated textile joints keep the system unified while eliminating the complex hardware and loose cushions associated with conventional modular seating.

This recognition celebrates a design that responds to life as it is: dynamic, social, and always changing..
